Metl-Fab Canopy Systems
Throughout the years Metl-Fab recognized a need for complete canopy systems to augment IMP projects. Most of our clients did not want to deal with multiple suppliers/subcontractors to achieve an architecturally pleasing and functional canopy system that would minimize snow and rain infiltration into their shipping and receiving docks. Metl-Fab developed an "in-house" design for canopy systems. Metl-Fab includes all shop drawings, engineering design, framing, soffit panels, standing seam, trim, and accessories as a package.
Most canopy systems have a projection of 3'-11" to eliminate the need for fire protection.
Metl-Fab can price material only projects or material and installation by one of our nationwide construction crews.
DC Series Canopy
Metl-Fab's DC series canopy system is the most popular choice in our line up providing a 3'-11" projection with a 4'-0" height and 6" front reveal. All materials for a complete system are supplied. The system consists of cold rolled G-90 galvanized metal for the framing components. Metl-Fab sources premium Kynar finishes for the soffit and standing seam that come with a 20-year finish warranty.
DCR Series Canopy
On some projects owners and architects are looking for an even more robust and industrial look for their dock canopy. Metl-Fab's DCR series canopy provides a 3'-11" projection with a 5'-0" height and 1'-0" front reveal. All other components of this system match the DC series canopy.
